This week, I decided to comment on Stephanie’s blog post about inquiry-based learning. I like how Stephanie broke down the topic and included a visual to show the key elements of inquiry-based learning. I like how she emphasized the notion of asking good questions, but also stated that the learner doesn’t need to wait for the perfect question. I agree with you that inquiry-based learning is well suited to the topic of ChatGPT, however, I was wondering if you had any reasons why inquiry-based learning would not be well suited for this topic. Since ChatGPT is still a new and evolving technology, do you think that might hinder a student’s ability to navigate this topic? If so, what considerations/accommodations might you need to make to ensure that students do not get lost in its complexity?
